CHAPTER SEVEN
Cars lined the street when they turned the corner to the surf shop. Ben smiled. You gotta love tourist season. Even a hole in the wall town like Sayulita could cash in when the States were having a cold snap. The surfing drew people to the town, the lack of resorts kept them from staying. For the locals it was the perfect combination.
Turning off the car, Ben palmed the keys and flicked a glance at Celeste. His cock instantly went on alert at the sight of her. What the hell was this thing? Shaking off the feeling, he jumped out of the car and scooped up the boards.
"I'll just drop these off and check in. Then we can grab some groceries."
Celeste smiled lazily at him from her seat in the car. The soft breeze coming off the water blew her hair gently around her. "Sounds good. Do you want me to come?"
Damn right he wanted her to come. But not the way she meant. His dick twitched as thoughts of what he'd like to do to her assaulted him. Her legs spread wide, his face buried deep. Damn. He shifted his shorts. "You better stay here. I won't be too long but you never know, so I'll meet you on the beach?"
"Okay, take your time," she said and pushed open the car door. Her long leg touched the ground and his eyes travelled up the length from toe to thigh. Shit. He needed to be alone with her.
"I'll be as quick as possible," he said and spun on his heel.
Inside the shop, Ben rested the board Celeste had used against the stand with the others for rent and carried his own into the back office. Before he had a chance to even turn around, Rico was behind him. "Ah crap," Ben muttered. So much for getting in and out.
An hour later, Ben was finally able to escape. He hoped Celeste wasn't going to be too pissed off. Hell, he just hoped she'd stuck around.
Outside the shop, he scanned the beach. Damn. He couldn't see her. He was just about to head toward her hotel when he caught sight of her out of the corner of his eye. Lounging in a beach chair with a margarita in her hand, Celeste smiled at him.
"Hey," she called.
Relief swept through his body. She didn't look pissed at all. In his experience that didn't necessarily mean she wasn't. Uneasy, he strolled toward her and flopped down onto the vacant chair to her right. "Sorry about that," he said. Watching her cautiously, he ran a hand across his head to push his hair off his face.
"No biggy. Problems?"
"Yeah a few, but I think I've got it all sorted out now. You still up for hanging out?"
"Absolutely." She passed him her margarita. "You look as if you could use a drink."
He took a large sip and handed it back to her. "Thanks," he said, still watching her. "I can't believe you're not mad."
"I told you, I own my own business.
